Thinner signs and labels are known to do a better job repelling moisture and reducing peeling for longer periods. This is because thinner signs and labels have smaller horizontal surfaces and allow moisture easier passage — reducing collection and peeling.
DuraLabel Extended-Life Vinyl Tapes are only 2.6 mil thick, making them ideal for many applications where moisture exposure is an issue. Thinner grades of vinyl also add flexibility for improved performance in many indoor and outdoor applications where surfaces are uneven or curved.
