Fluorine, Chlorine, Bromine and Iodine are each elements of halogen and common ingredients in label adhesives. When placed on stainless steel for extended periods, these elements are known to penetrate stainless steel and allow corrosion to occur.
Protect your pipes from corrosive adhesives by using a label made with low levels of halogen adhesive so pipes offer longer life and perform reliably.
